Mrs. Jennifer Nowlin

I'm Mrs. Nowlin! This year will be my first teaching at Moss Bluff Middle School! I previously taught at F.K. White in Lake Charles. I have two daughters, Elizabeth and Emerson, and a class pet named Rango. She is a crested gecko. 

I am originally from Morgan City, Louisiana, and my husband was a football coach, which brought us to several different districts. Calcasieu is my fourth district to teach in, and we have made Lake Charles our forever home. 

I previously taught social studies for eight years, but I am now a science teacher. I prefer how hands-on science is, and I absoluely love middle school students. What I love most about teaching is being able to impact students and teach them lessons I have learned that go beyond the curriculum.
