Student Council

 The purpose of the Student Council is to further democratic participation in school government by the student body; to establish a better understanding between students and faculty; to promote the ideals of friendliness, fair play, loyalty, and school spirit. Mrs. Khenni Barr and Mrs. Heather O'Neal are the Student Council Advisors.

The President is a member of the eighth grade class. The Vice President must be in seventh or eighth grade, while the secretary and historian can be any grade level. Student Council members are in 6th, 7th and 8th grade.

Representatives to the Student Council are elected by the student body, and officers are elected by the Student Council members. Officers must maintain a 3.0 GPA while representatives must maintain a 2.5 GPA. Each member must follow the club constitution.

The Student Council sponsors Teacher's Appreciation Week, food drives, school spirit activities, and once allowed we will sponsor dances. Donations are made to a different charity each year.
