Mrs. McCullough

I teach social studies, reading, ELA and study skills. I have been teaching special education for ten years. I am married and I have 3 children. My aide is Cheryl Jordan, she has been an aide for four years. She is married and has three children, and five grandchildren.

If you want to get a jump start for 6th grade learning, here are some suggestions:

  • Students should study their DOL (daily oral language) every night for testing the next day
  • Friday - test over all 4 DOL's that we have studied during that week.

·          Visit your local library for novels to read.

·         Learn a new word each day, and try to use it in your conversations.

·         Write letters, stories, journal, etc. to improve your writing skills.

·         Watch educational programs on TV such as the Discovery channel.

  •  When you find yourself with nothing to do, visit these sites for practice and drills.
