MRS. HOFFPAUIR'S

                EARTH SCIENCE                    
EIGHTH GRADE

        Welcome to Mrs. Hoffpauir's 8th grade science class.  This year my students will be covering four major areas.  They include astronomy, meteorology, geology, and oceanography.  Students will work in cooperative groups as well as individually.

        The students will need the following supplies brought to class each day:

    1. folder with pockets and brads
    2. black or blue ink pen
    3. red ink pen                                       NOTE:  A science book was given to
    4. loose-leaf paper                                each student to keep at home to complete
    5. pencil                                               assignments.
    6. agenda book

        Approximately ten grades a six weeks are given.  These grades are obtained from tests, quizzes, experiments, projects, homework, and their folder.
