The Art Team is responsible for creating artwork for yearly exhibitions and competitions for Moss Bluff Middle, Calcasieu Parish School Board and the community.  They also create, market, and distribute Candy Grams to help raise money for the art department. The team also makes posters, banners, and backdrops for school activities. To be a member of the art team you must possess some artistic ability combined with leadership skills and a willingness to co-operate in a team or group atmosphere.

Art Team 2008-2009

Each year the Art Team participates in Fund Raising for the Art Department. We have different Candy Gram sales.  The students design, create and sell the Candy Grams to the students.  They learn to work on a team, create a product from start to finish, promote the sale by creating signs.  Ms. Aguillard, the Video Instructor, has her Video Team create a commercial for the morning announcements.  The Art Team students go out and sell as much as they can and the proceeds go toward buying equipment for the Art Department.  They also have a lot of fun!
