Mr. John Duhon, Principal 2006-2007 - "Calcasieu Parish School System  Principal of the Year" and "Regional Principal of the Year" John Duhon, principal of Moss Bluff Middle, graduated from Lake Charles High in 1964 and attended McNeese State University where he earned his Bachelor of Science, Master of Art and Education Specialist degrees. His former places of employment include Washington High from 1970-1975, Pearl Watson Elementary from 1975-1977, LaGrange Middle from 1977-1979, Westlake High from 1979-1987, and Moss Bluff Middle from 1987 to present. Since he has become Principal at Moss Bluff Middle School their test scores have increased every year and have been twice recognized as a school of academic excellence. He has 37 years in education, 10 years as Assistant Principal and 10 years as Principal.
